May 17th - Snug Harbor Snail-A-Thon. Meet at the Catholic Church and leave at 10:00am. Potluck Picnic starts at noon. Donations are encouraged. Make checks payable to CLCCI and mail to PO Box 508 - Cooper Landing, AK 99572. Donations will also be accepted at the event. A prize will be awarded to the paticipent who collects the most garbage along the road and also to the most colorful hat worn by a participent. There will be door prizes given out at the picnic.

May 20th - DEADLINE for articles to be placed in the Cooper Landing Chamber Newsletter and any notices that you would like to have placed on the Cooper Landing Calendar. If you would like to place a classified add in the News Letter the minimum is $1.00 for up to 20 words. Addiional words are 10 cents per word. $20.00 business card size (camera ready per issue, member or non-member). Additional charge for layout and design, $30.00 per hour, pro rated. There will be no Newsletter in July and August.
May 23rd - Softball Tournment Begins! It will run from May 23rd through June 1st. Cooper Landing EMS will be running a concession stand and raffles to help raise funds. Raffle tickets will be available from all EMS personnel, at Wildman's and during the tournament.
May 25th - DEADLINE for inserts to be placed in the Cooper Landing Chamber Newsletter. Inserts are free once per year for members if printed and provided to the Chamber. All future inserts are $10.00 for one page or $15.00 for two pages. For non-members inserts are $25.00 for one page and $30.00 for two pages. There will be no Newsletter in July and August.
