About the Course

KPEDD facilitates community town meetings and other forums. We assist communities with producing a community action plan. Strategic planning is very important, and KPEDD is here to help rural, under-served communities. By documenting the community’s values, vision and priorities, economic opportunities are easier to identify.

KPEDD is a non-profit regional economic development organization, or ARDOR. Organized in 1988, KPEDD serves residents of the Kenai Peninsula Borough in south central Alaska. The Borough is home to approximately 49,600 people residing in a land area of 16,100 square miles. For more information about the Kenai Peninsula Borough, visit the US Census Bureau Quick Facts page for detailed information.
