If you want to get on the water, Cooper Landing is the place to launch. Enjoy turquoise tranquility on a gentle, scenic day float. Liven it up with a thrilling Class III whitewater run through Kenai Canyon. Or try paddleboarding, canoeing or kayaking on Kenai Lake. River floats are generally 2-3 hours, or 5-6 hours if you include the canyon. Watch for eagles, songbirds, waterfowl, bears, moose, and coyotes as you float through the incredible wilderness beauty.
